We are now looking for an engaged and solution-oriented production engineer for an exciting consulting assignment in Linköping within the defense and industrial sector. In this role, you will work closely with production and become an important part of a cross-functional team consisting of production managers, team leaders, quality engineers, and production controllers.

You will contribute to developing, streamlining, and quality-assuring production processes in a technically advanced business where structure, collaboration, and improvement work are in focus.

• Develop and optimize production methods

• Drive efficiency work and technical problem-solving

• Participate in projects and improvement initiatives

• Develop and update guidelines, target hours, and lead times

• Support production in technical issues

• Ensure that working methods and processes are efficient and quality-assured

• Experience in production or production engineering work

• Experience working in business systems, such as IFS ERP or equivalent

• Vocational education in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

• Experience from work within hull or assembly

• Experience in improvement work in a production environment

• Solution-oriented and structured

• Independent with good collaboration skills

• Driven, engaged, and proactive

• Scope: Full-time (100 %)

• Location: Linköping

• Work model: On-site

• Assignment period: May 1, 2026 – May 1, 2027, with the possibility of extension

• Security clearance is required by the client before start
